Vice President of Adhalath Party, prominent lawyer Ali Zahir have said that the lower court sentenced based on police intelligence report that proves nothing.
Speaking at a gathering held at Kunooz by the opposition coalition, Ali Zahir said that the lawyers were given this intelligence report as evidence in the lower court. However, he said that in the appeal procedure the high court ruled that there was no information available from the intelligence reports.
Ali Zahir said that police intelligence reports are not even shown to the lawyers and hence it should be inadmissible in court.
He said that the actions of the opposition which are done in accordance with the law are also taken as unlawful activities by the government and hence that is a reason why the opposition must strengthen their work.
He said that it is not time for supportive viber messages but time for everyone to work together for reform.
