Officials from the Land and Building Department of Housing Ministry have said that their aim is to finish all work referred to them within 3 days.
In a ceremony held this morning at that department to introduce a que system for people who get their services, the department head Hassan Zareer said that since Housing Ministry started providing all the services related to land, the speed of services has become faster.
Housing Minister Dr.Muhammad Muizzu said that when people submit floor plans of houses, if all required stamps are on it, it can be certified within 3 days. If stamps are missing, it will take two weeks. “ Previously it takes 6 months some times. So this is a huge achievement” said Dr.Muizzu.
He said that the President gives a lot of importance to make sure that the people receives services from the ministry quickly. He said that hence, they work hard to make sure that they are able to deliver that.
