No concerns in Pakistan regarding Maldives political situation- Mohamed Hussein Shareef

Minister at the President’s Office, Mohamed Hussein Shareef said that there are no concerns raised by the Pakistani government regarding the political situation of Maldives.
Mohamed Hussein Shareef made this remark meeting the press at the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport following his arrival to Maldives after participating in a state visit to Pakistan with President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
He said that Pakistan will be continuing assisting Maldives and they will not interfere in the internal affairs of Maldives.
He said that the President’s visit will open many opportunities for Maldives including more assistance to Maldives military.
Mohamed Hussein Shareef said that the two countries has signed a number of important ‎agreements, on health, ‎education and sports ‎cooperation, ‎and strengthening ‎mechanisms to ‎combat illicit drug trafficking ‎and narcotics ‎abuse. ‎
