Police have launched a search operation to find a young man believed to have gone missing from Hulhumale’.
The police announced they were searching for Ahmed Shaheen, 21, Thinthari, R. Maakurath, in a post on X on Monday afternoon.
According to the police, Shaheen was reported as a missing person by his family, who haven’t heard from him since last week.
The family last had contact with Shaheen via phone on November 6.

Police asked for anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to call the police hotline at 3322111 or the Hulhumale’ Phase II Police Station at 9393351.
