A petition was submitted on May 18th claiming the commission's president and some of the other senior members were abusing their powers to obstruct the responsibilities of the commission's employees.
Not long after the commission had fired its Secretary General, Mariyam Zeeniya citing she was not cooperating with the commission's decisions.
Zeeniya has lodged her dismissal to the Employment Tribunal.
