Bank of Maldives (BML) has increased their VISA Debit Card maximum daily limit to USD 1,000 on foreign spending effective from today. Previously, the maximum daily limit was at USD 600. According to BML, their customers can now withdraw cash up to USD 400 via ATMs and pay up to USD 600 via POS terminals across the world. BML said that the change was the result of customer feedback in an effort to “enhance” the services provided by the bank. “We believe this will be very positive news for our customers, particularly those travelling abroad during this holiday period and for students who live abroad.” Retail Banking Director of BML, Mohamed Shareef said.
