Economic Minister Mohammed Saeed have said that, the President’s effort to bring in international businesses and establish business links with various countries is becoming a success.
Speaking to Miadhu News, Minister Saeed said that, the President knows that there should be no limit, if we want to bring in more investments and develop businesses. He also said that the President is well aware, that these things can be achieved by opening up the country at a wider level.
Mohamed Saeed said that they talked with the Thai authorities to buy fruits directly from the farmers and import to Maldives. “We are not talking about something simple. But we are talking about something that will positively impact the Maldivian economy immensely” said Saeed
He further said that, in addition to Thailand, the government is working hard to bring in investments from various other countries as well. He assured that soon Maldivians will experience the results of these works.
