VMC promotes “Sunny Side of Life” at 10th China‑South Asia Expo

Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC), in partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade is spearheading the Maldives’ presence at the 10th China‑South Asia Expo (CSAE), running through 16 June at the Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The collaborative effort underscores the island nation’s commitment to expanding its footprint in one of Asia’s most dynamic travel markets.
Through the Ministry’s facilitation, a diverse Maldivian delegation—featuring representatives from the Ministry alongside key private‑sector exhibitors such as MIFCO, Authentic Maldives, LoveMe, Anbalange, Arena Maldives, and Viva Trips—will showcase the archipelago’s breadth of tourism and consumer products. The expo, widely regarded as one of the region’s largest international trade and consumer exhibitions, offers a strategic platform for the Maldives to engage directly with Chinese and South‑Asian travellers, industry professionals and media.
At the Maldives pavilion, visitors will be treated to immersive branding, vibrant destination visuals and dedicated engagement zones. Promotional materials in Mandarin will guide guests through the country’s diverse offerings—from luxury resorts and boutique island retreats to marine adventures and rich cultural experiences. Interactive displays will highlight the nation’s natural beauty, hospitality and the unique travel pathways that await tourists.

China remains a strategically vital source market for Maldivian tourism, and the participation in CSAE 2026 forms part of VMC’s ongoing strategy to sustain strong market visibility, boost destination awareness and drive growth from Asia’s key outbound travel corridors.
