On the occasion of Ramadan, Bank of Maldives Limited (BML) has increased the amount of money which can be withdrawn from ATMs.
From today onwards, the daily amount which can be withdrawn using Amex Gold card has been increased from MVR10,000 to MVR15,000; and the amount which can be withdrawn from Visa Debit card and Amex Green card has been increased to MVR10,000 daily.
BML said that this might be continued after Ramadan, depending on how it goes during Ramadan.
BML has been making efforts to expand its ATM services.
Several new ATMs were installed in Malé recently, bringing the total number of BML ATMs to 46.
