Sandhaan Luthufee: Would be better if corruption of Nasheed government was investigated

Ibrahim Luthufee (Sandhaan Luthufee) has said that it would have been much better if Al-Jazeera investigated the corruption of government of the former President, Mohamed Nasheed. Luthufee, who has been criticizing the current government and the previous Nasheed regime, said on his Facebook account on Thursday that the Al-Jazeera documentary on Maldives, “Stealing Paradise” sponsored by Nasheed did not reveal anything new on the corruption of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom. He said that the documentary “could not show single solid evidence against his (President Yameen’s) criminality”. And that the “documentary proves Yameen’s smartness and intelligence in his endeavor of embezzlement; unlike his stupid predecessor, Nasheed.” Sharing his Facebook post on Twitter tagging Will Jordan of the Al-Jazeera Investigation Unit, Luthufee said that it would have been “fair” if the corruption of President Nasheed was investigated. would have been fair if @willjordan had investigated #corruption of Pres #Nasheed govt #StealingParadise @AJEnglish pic.twitter.com/7jlmDcXKaD— Ibrahim Lutfy (@IbrahimLutfy) September 8, 2016
