President Mohamed Nasheed acted as a judge in deciding “Zaid future energy prize”, for an Abu Dhabi organisation working for renewable energy. President Nasheed was sent an invitation by the organization to act as a judge at the meeting held yesterday in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to decide the winners of the “Zaid future energy prize”.
According to the President’s Office, the President’s trip to Abu Dhabi is a result of an invitation accorded to him by this organization.
“The Zaid future energy prize” is an yearly prize given to promote the use of renewable energy. The panel of 5 judges held a press conference yesterday after the meeting held to decide the winners for this year.
