Housing Minister Dr.Muizzu have said that the mechanical car parking system in Male’ is successful. He said that they have successfully tested the system with 10 cars.
The systems are kept near Velanaage building. The minister said that 20 such systems will be placed all around Male’ and that includes motorcycle parking systems as well. He said that in a cycle parking system 100 cycles can be parked.
The minister said that the government made this decision to alleviate congestion in streets of Male’.
