President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed exchanged customary Eid ul-Fitr greetings with the public at Mulee'aage, the Official Residence of the President, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Among those in attendance were Cabinet ministers, ministerial-ranked officials, Members of Parliament, State Ministers, foreign dignitaries, heads of Government offices, and senior officials from various sectors. A large number of members of the general public and their families were also present.
As part of the Eid celebrations, “Eid Haveeru 1447” will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. across Malé, Hulhumalé, and Vilimalé, coordinated by the Maldives National Defence Force, with participation from the Maldives Police Service and a number of state-owned companies.
