President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed exchanged customary Eid ul-Fitr greetings with members of the public at Mulee’aage, the President’s Official Residence, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The event was attended by Cabinet ministers, ministers of state, Members of Parliament, and other senior government officials. Foreign dignitaries, heads of government offices and representatives from various sectors were also present.
A large number of members of the public, along with their families, took part in the gathering to mark the Eid celebrations.
As part of the wider festivities, “Eid Haveeru 1447” is scheduled to take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. across Malé, Hulhumalé and Vilimalé.
The event is being coordinated by the Maldives National Defence Force, with participation from the Maldives Police Service and several state-owned enterprises.
