The international lawyers team members of former president Mohamed Nasheed، Amal Clooney and Jared Genser، have met with the former president in Maafushi Prison today.
The two-hour meeting held at Kaafu atoll Maafushi Prison was also attended by Nasheed’s lawyers Uz. Hisaan Hussain and Uz. Hassan Latheef.
Reports say، a press conference will be held later this afternoon at Kurumba Maldives to brief the media on the meetings of Nasheed’s international lawyers as well as other details regarding the case.
The international lawyers team member Amal Clooney has met with Attorney General Mohamed Anil on Wednesday، which she had informed was ‘fruitful’. The details are expected to be disclosed during today’s press conference at Kurumba.
