Maldives and Pakistan have held discussions on strengthening the longstanding bilateral relationship between the two nations and exploring new avenues for cooperation.
The discussions were held during a meeting between Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu as part of Mirza’s ongoing visit to the Maldives.

Mirza had paid a courtesy call on the President at the President’s Office on Thursday, during which the President welcomed him to the Maldives.
The discussions during the meeting centered on strengthening the longstanding bilateral relationship between the two nations and exploring new avenues for cooperation.
Concluding the meeting, Mirza and President Muizzu emphasized the importance of continued collaboration and reaffirmed their shared commitment to further enhancing the partnership between the Maldives and Pakistan.
