All problems in the country will be solved when state institutions start working independently: Qasim

Leader of Jumhooree Party Qasim Ibrahim have said that when the three powers of the states start working independently as written in the constitution all the problems in the nation will be solved and then there will be nothing anyone should say against each other.
Speaking at a rally held at the main office of JP tonight, Qasim said that the secret behind the progress we see today in Maldives are the reform movements that started in 2005. He said that even though political parties were not registered in Maldives at the time, things were carried out in a democratic manner.
In addition, Qasim said that the budget was 5 billion dollars in 2005 and today it is 27 billion dollars. He said that the income per capita has also increased and all these improvements are a result of democratic changes.
He said that even though today the regime is turning into an authoritative system. Qasim said that there is no point in criticizing any state institutions because they have no other option. He said that this is happening because all powers are combined and the independent institutions cannot operate independently.
Qasim said that it is the parliament’s responsibility to provide an environment where the institutions can work independently. He said that all these things are happening because the parliament has failed to do what they are supposed to do. Furthermore, Qasim said that there is no reason anyone should hesitate to speak righteously and Allah provides to the small organism living under the sea even. He said that hence this is the time everyone should work together to solve the problems in parliament and all other areas.
Qasim asked the parliament members to serve the nation as per the vows they have made, instead of just condemning the problems.
