Maldives Police Service (MPS) has taken two phones into their custody following a case regarding blackmailing, from Huraa island in Kaafu atoll.
Taken were two phones and police media official revealed that they had received the report of blackmail following which they had confiscated the phone from a 43-year old and a 50-year old.
The phones were confiscated under a court order, revealed the media official.
Police did not reveal further details regarding the case.
