Former President Nasheed have said that he will come back to power very soon. He said this while talking to some journalists from India. However, he did not specify how he intends to achieve this.
Nasheed has concluded his visit to Colombo and has now left to London. Chairperson of MDP Ali Waheed accompanied him in the trip.
MDP did not reveal what Nasheed was doing in Colombo. BBC reported that there is a plot to remove the government and that it will be done through legal means.
Speaking to the press earlier this week, the Home Minister said that it will not be possible to topple the government because the people are with the government. He said that he does not believe that there are people in the Maldives who will topple the government.
