Sheikh Mohamed Didi appeals to continue striving up until there is no oppression

Former State Minister at the Islamic Ministry who resigned recently, Sheikh Mohamed Didi has appealed all to continue the struggle against the government atrocities up until there is no oppression.
Sheikh Mohamed Didi made this remark speaking at the “Maldivians against oppression” rally held last night. He said that the people of Maldives is living under fear and terror in the tyrannical rule of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
He said that there is no guarantee of safety for anyone in the society today. He said that it is the obligation of all individuals to work hard and struggle against the government to relieve the people from this tyranny and oppression.
Sheikh Mohamed Didi said that the democracy that the people brought to Maldives after much suffering and sacrifices is almost dead and buried by the current government.
“We will raise it. We will protect it. We will increase the rifts on the fortress of tyranny of the government. We will not give tyranny any opportunities. We will destroy this oppressions. We will success. We will succeed. I assure you all. We will be upon this up until our last breathe,” he said.
