The national Bank of Maldives’ (BML) branch in Villingili island of Gaafu Alif island has been broken into and robbed.
Police confirm that the incident was reported to them at about 5:37am on Monday, although the amount stolen has not yet been revealed.
RaajjeMV understands that the robbers had removed parts of the building’s roof and used this opening to enter it.
The single storey building is located in an open compound.
