State Trading Organization (STO) has reduced the price of fuel sold in Maldives.
STO announced changes to the price of petrol and diesel sold through its subsidiary Fuel Supplies Maldives (FSM) in a statement on Friday.
As such, the price of petrol has been reduced from MVR 15.14 per liter to MVR 14.73 per liter, and the price of diesel has been reduced from MVR 15.70 per liter to MVR 15.07 per liter.
The changes are effective starting Friday, June 9.
STO had last made changes to fuel prices on May 1, when the company reduced the price of petrol by MVR 0.83 and the price of diesel by MVR 0.62.
