The Hajj Umrah Conference, organised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, has successfully concluded.
The conference aimed to bring together Hajj and Umrah service providers in the Maldives to discuss sector-related issues and share important information. This is the second conference of its kind organised by the Ministry.
The conference included panel discussions on important topics related to Hajj and Umrah, as well as Ministry presentations on religious facilitation and improving service quality for pilgrims. Health issues pilgrims should consider before, during, and after Hajj were also discussed extensively.
Over 100 participants, including Maldives Hajj Corporation Limited, Umrah service providers, and the national airline Maldivian, attended the conference. An international delegation from Saudi Arabia's Al-Safwa Foundation also participated and conducted sessions.
