Saudi Arabia Provides $90 Million in Financial Support to the State of Palestine

Saudi Arabia has extended $90 million in financial support to the State of Palestine, reaffirming its long-standing commitment to the Palestinian people and their national institutions. The contribution was formally handed over by Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Prince Mansour bin Khalid to Palestinian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Acting Minister of Finance Estephan Salameh during a ceremony held at the Saudi Embassy in Amman on Monday.
The financial support forms part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing assistance to Palestine in 2025. Prince Mansour emphasized that the contribution reflects the Saudi leadership’s dedication to helping the Palestinian government meet its financial obligations, strengthen institutional stability, and ease the humanitarian challenges faced by the Palestinian people. He highlighted the Kingdom’s continuous support to key sectors—including health and education—as part of its broader economic, developmental, and humanitarian commitment.
Prince Mansour also reaffirmed the Kingdom’s unwavering and historical stance in support of the Palestinian cause, including the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state. He referenced recent diplomatic efforts led jointly by Saudi Arabia and France at the high-level International Conference on the Peaceful Settlement of the Palestinian Question and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution. These efforts, he noted, have contributed to widening international recognition of the State of Palestine and the two-state solution.
Minister Salameh expressed deep appreciation for the Kingdom’s ongoing financial and political backing, stressing the importance of the new funding in helping ease the financial crisis exacerbated by recent Israeli measures. He praised Saudi Arabia’s consistent historical position on Palestine and thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for their continued support across political, economic, and humanitarian fronts.
