Swiss leisure carrier, Edelweiss Air has announced an increase in its flight operations to the Maldives for the summer season.
In addition to its existing scheduled services, the airline will operate two extra weekly flights between 4 July and 13 September this year. The additional services will run on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
With the expanded schedule, Edelweiss Air is expected to operate a total of 21 additional flights to the Maldives over the summer period.
Edelweiss Air is the third-largest airline in Switzerland. The airline began operations to the Maldives on 4 November, and last year marked the 25th anniversary of its flights to the destination.
