President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed will exchange customary Eid ul-Fitr greetings with members of the public tomorrow, according to the President’s Office.
The reception will be held at the President’s Official Residence, Mulee’aage, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on the day.
The President and the First Lady have invited members of the public, state officials, foreign dignitaries and representatives of private companies and associations to take part in the gathering.
They have also encouraged families to attend the event, with a particular invitation extended to children and young people to join in the Eid celebrations.
Arrangements have been made to ensure the orderly conduct of the event. Visitors are requested to enter the premises through the main gate of Mulee’aage on Medhuziyaaraiy Magu, with access facilitated via Shaheed Abdulla Zuhair Hin’gun.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has declared today as the 30th day of Ramadan, confirming that the first day of Shawwal will be observed tomorrow.
