The case of Ibrahim Rasheed (Hoara Ibbe, age 45) accused of sexual misconduct has been forward to the Prosecutor General’s Office (PG). Ibrahim Rasheed previously held the post of Under Secretary at the President’s Office during former President Mohamed Nasheed’s administration.
The case was forwarded for prosecution on the 25th of last month. Ibrahim Rasheed is currently under house arrest.
Police have said that Ibrahim Rasheed was arrested on 6 December from a house named G. Maavasge located in the alleyway in front Olympus. They said that he was found naked with a 17 year old girl at the time of arrest. The girl was also arrested along with Ibrahim Rasheed.
