Former Youth Minister Mohamed Maleeh Jamaal has praised both Kendhoo MP Ali Hussain and South-Galolhu MP Ahmed Mahloof for voting against the Constitutional Amendment bill to set age-limits for President and Vice Presidential candidates.
According to the former Minister، both MPs had stood firm to their beliefs and had acted thoroughly to the best interest of all، without betraying their own conscience.
In a statement he made today، on Twitter، Maleeh noted that both Mahloof and Ali Hussain will have their names ‘immortalized’ in history.
“Proud of the stand from both of you” said Maleeh in his statement – marking the first political response from Maleeh following his termination from Youth Ministry designation this year.
