South-Galolhu constituency member Ahmed Mahloof claims former President Mohamed Nasheed، who currently is doing time at jail over terrorism charges، have put more effort and worked more to introduce and bring democracy compared to PPM leader Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.
Mahloof، who had been a PPM member was recently sacked from membership by the disciplinary committee over his strong criticism against President Yameen and current regime.
The Parliament member had remained true to the notion، that former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom had also carried out an exceptional role in bringing democracy to Maldives.
“President Maumoon had worked on bringing democracy to Maldives، much akin to that President Nasheed had worked equally or comparatively more، in my opinion” Mahloof commented.
