HA. Dhidhdhoo honored former President Mohamed Nasheed with a banquet on Friday night.
Dhidhdhoo residents welcomed Nasheed upon his arrival earlier that evening.
Nasheed's supporters also joined him in the banquet, which held by local businessmen at Dhidhdhoo’s school.
The businessmen said that the event was held to celebrate Nasheed’s visit to the island since receiving his prison conviction.

A traditional music band performed during the event and Nasheed was awarded a plaque on behalf of the Dhidhdhoo residents.
