President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has on Monday, visited the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF)’s Headquarters, “Bandaara Koshi” for the first time since assuming office.
The President was welcomed at the MNDF HQ by Minister of Defense and National Security, Mariya Ahmed Didi and Chief of Defense Force, Abdulla Shamaal, who was appointed to the post earlier in December.
During the visit, President Solih had met with general officers, unit commanders, senior warrant officer and enlisted leaders of the MNDF.
President Solih had taken a tour of the MNDF HQ and also joined officers for lunch.
