The Bank of Maldives (BML) has launched a new USD ATM in Fuvahmulah City, expanding access to foreign currency services for residents and businesses.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, Ministers of State, BML Chairman Ahmed Ali Habeeb, BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, and senior officials of the bank.
“We are very pleased to introduce a Dollar ATM service in Fuvahmulah,” said CEO Shareef. “This will make it easier for individuals and businesses to access foreign currency and support the city’s growing economic activity.”

The new ATM is part of BML’s broader strategy to strengthen banking infrastructure across the Maldives. The bank currently operates 42 branches, 202 self-service banking centers, and 260 ATMs across 20 provinces.
BML continues to support individuals, businesses, and communities nationwide with enhanced digital and physical banking services.
