Special Eid al-Adha celebrations for children were held across four areas of Male’ City.
The event was organised with participation from the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), Maldives Police Service (MPS), and various government agencies and state-owned companies. Activities were held in locations including Male’, Hulhumale’ and Villimale’.
The children’s festival programme was organised with fun and interactive activities, with several stalls set up by participating agencies. MNDF and other institutions showcased uniforms, operational equipment, and land and marine vehicles, and allowed children to take photos with them.
Children attending the festivities shared positive experiences, expressing excitement about police vehicles and enjoying the activities with their families.
Across the country, Eid al-Adha was also celebrated with traditional sports and cultural activities.
