Maldives, who entered the knockout stage as the top‑ranked team, overpowered fourth‑placed Bangladesh with scores of 25–17, 25–12, 25–12. The team showcased confident play throughout the match, with several strategic changes contributing to the win.
With the victory, Maldives advanced to the final against Kyrgyzstan, scheduled for Thursday at 20:50 hrs.
