The current Mayor of Kulhudhuffushi City, Mohamed Athif, has officially announced today his decision to contest for another term in the upcoming Local Council Elections.
Announcing the decision in a Facebook post, Athif stated that he has decided to run for the mayoralty of Kulhudhuffushi City in the upcoming elections. He also requested the full support, love, and assistance of all citizens of Kulhudhuffushi in this journey.
Furthermore, Athif mentioned that he would be sharing his vision with the public in the coming days.
“In the coming days, I will be sharing my vision with you, the citizens,” Athif wrote in his post.
Mohamed Athif is the first mayor elected to the position since Kulhudhuffushi was officially designated as a city.
Ibrahim Hassan (Kuda Ibbe) is contesting for the Kulhudhuffushi City mayoralty on behalf of the ruling party, PNC.
