A 21-year-old Maldivian woman who was found lying on the roof of a house in Malé City’s Henveiru district is currently undergoing treatment at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
According to police, the incident was reported at 7:23am and the woman was transported to the hospital with assistance from the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF)’s Fire and Rescue team.
While some sources claim the woman may have fallen onto the roof from a nearby building, authorities have not yet confirmed how she ended up there. As such, it remains unclear whether she fell.
IGMH has yet to comment regarding the case. Hence, the condition of the woman remains unclear.
Police said they investigating the case further.
