A 97-year-old fell and died on late Sunday after falling from the sixth floor of a building in capital city Male’.
The Police reported that the man identified as Abdulla Naheef fell from the building in Henveyru around 0500 hours.
Moreover, the police revealed that the 97-year-old died before he was taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
Police have yet to disclose how he fell from the building.
Abdulla Naheef is the father of former Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture Dr Ibrahim Didi as well as former State Minister of Islamic Ministry Mohamed Didi.
