Male’ City Council has stated that the closed-off part of Boduthakurufaanu Magu near Rasfannu Beach will be opened in March after construction, completely opening up the ring road.
Speaking on RaajjeTV’s Fala Surukhee show on Thursday night, Deputy Mayor Shamau Shareef highlighted their various work to increase the quality of life in the capital city.
Noting their accomplishments as part of the government’s 100-day plan, Shamau said that the part of Ameer Ahmed Magu near the Islamic Center has also been opened for traffic and are in discussions with relevant authorities to make traffic-flow changes and increase parking spaces in order to reduce the number of vehicles parked on the roads. 
He said that they plan to open parking zones this month and cleanup and renovate the park near the Sinamale’ Bridge. He added that the council has also contracted MTCC with developing Artificial Beach.
