Bank of Maldives (BML) has established a self service centre at Raa Ungoofaaru.
The branch was officially opened during the ceremony conducted at the island. As part of their investment plans in Raa Atoll, BML intends to upgrade the quality of services provided in the islands. As such, the citizens and businesses of Baa Ungoofaaru can gain access to 24 hours service. This includes the deposit and withdrawal of cash.
BML stated that to celebrate the launch of this service, the April meeting of the Bank Director Board would held at the branch. BML further states that it brings them great pleasure to launch the latest technological upgrades to the island of Ungoofaaru, and the investment to Ungoofaaru would economically benefit the neighboring islands in the long run.
BML constitutes of 37 branches, 40 self service banking centres, 100 ATMS, 5300 POS merchants, 277 cash merchants and a top tier online banking service. BML states that they seek to help the citizens and businesses in all regions of the Maldives.
