The Bank of Maldives (BML) has carried out a blood donation program on Monday, under their recent campaign to connect with the local population.
Thirty employees of the bank donated blood on Monday for children with Thalassemia. The bank management had awarded special gifts to the employees who had donated blood.
Under BML's 'Aharenge Bank' (Our Bank) campaign, the bank will be carrying out an act beneficial to society everyday of this month. On Saturday, bank employees had worked to clean the Hulhumale' beach.
BML is the largest banking network in the Maldives, with 31 branches in 20 atolls, 78 ATMs, 4000 POS Merchants, 200 Cash Agents, 20 Self Service Banking Centers as well as 5 Dhoani Banking Units alongside a state of the art online service.
The bank has vowed to double their investments for the previous year and invest 300 million Maldivian Rufiyaa into the Maldivian economy and launch 10 CSR programs this year.
