President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has today appointed Moosa Rilwan of M. Haavilaa as a member of the Maldives Broadcasting Commission.
The appointment was made in accordance with Section 6(a) of the Broadcasting Act (Act No. 16/2010), following the submission of Moosa Rilwan’s name to the People’s Majlis and its subsequent approval.
Moosa Rilwan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations, awarded in 2016. He has been actively engaged in media operations and management since 2009.
In addition to his contributions to the media sector, Moosa Rilwan has participated in several key national development projects in collaboration with international agencies and Government Ministries. These include the nationwide water and sewerage project ‘Fennaaru’, the Maldives Urban Development and Resilience Project, and the Strengthening Low Carbon Energy Island Strategies (LCEI) project.
