President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with members of the N. Kudafari Island Council, the Women’s Development Committee (WDC), and heads of local institutions to discuss the island’s key developmental priorities. The meeting took place today at the Kudafaree School library.
During the meeting, Council members raised several concerns, including the need to strengthen coastal defences and improve educational facilities. They also emphasised the importance of expediting the completion of the new health centre building and highlighted additional requirements to enhance healthcare services on the island.
In response, President Dr Muizzu assured that the issues raised by the Council would be reviewed. He also provided updates on ongoing projects, with further details shared by cabinet ministers and heads of state-owned enterprises.
