Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih leaves for Singapore on an unofficial visit.
President's Office did not share details of the trip since it was a personal trip of the Maldives head of state.
President Solih had flown to Singapore earlier in the year for a thyroid operation, during which he was accompanied by First Lady Fazna Ahmed. Following his surgery in February, he again flew to Singapore in April - another unofficial trip by the presidential couple.
During his visit to Singapore for the operation, President Solih temporarily granted all governing responsibilities to Vice President Faisal Naseem.
