The Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for its 2025 Internship Program – a one-year program conducted by the national for students and graduates of higher education institutions in the Maldives.
Launched in 2018, the BML’s Internship Program has supported graduates from diverse fields.  This year, the program has been further expanded with the introduction of the TechStart Internship Program, offering specialized opportunities for IT students alongside graduate interns.
Internship opportunities:
Graduate Internship Program: 15 interns – Placements across all divisions of the bank.
TechStart Internship program: 10 interns – Placement across technology division of the bank.
During the internship, the students and graduate will get hands-on experience in various business units and branches. The monthly allowances for this year’s graduate internships have been increased to MVR 9,000, and TechStart interns will receive an allowance of MVR 11,000 per month. 
Applications close on September 30.
According to BML, its Internship Program has supported 77 interns since 2018, with some of these interns offered permanent positions at the bank.
