President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has stated that the government’s aim is to fulfill pledges and produce results. He made the statement at a press conference held at the President’s Office on Saturday.
At a press conference, the President said the government is working to fulfill its promises and said that he remembers the pledges he made to the people. He recalled that he made a total of 2129 promises to the people, including 289 pledges included in the manifesto, 1051 pledges made during the presidential campaign, 484 pledges made during visits, and 305 pledges made at events.
“These promises are very systematically listed and monitored by the President's Office,” he said.
In order to fulfill the pledges, a total of 2,130 projects will be implemented this year and next year, he said.
The President said it is the responsibility of every individual employed in the government to fulfill promises, and that every appointment made to the government was made in order to achieve the desired result through their contribution.
