His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has congratulated His Excellency Lawrence Wong, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, on his recent victory in Singapore’s general elections.
In his message, the President extended warm congratulations on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives to His Excellency and the People’s Action Party on their resounding victory in the recent general elections.
The President conveyed that this electoral success reflects the confidence and trust placed in Prime Minister Wong's leadership by the people of Singapore. The President commended the dedication and commitment demonstrated by the Prime Minister in serving Singapore and extended his best wishes for his good health and well-being, and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Singapore.
Earlier today, President Dr Muizzu also congratulated the Prime Minister in a post on his official X account. In his post, the President wished the Prime Minister success in his responsibilities during his new term and emphasised his eagerness to deepen the longstanding partnership and friendship between the Maldives and Singapore.
