MIFCO has participated and represented Maldives in the yellow fin tuna special fair “Boston Sea Food Show”.
The Boston Sea Food fair conducted from 15th to 17th March is the world’s second biggest fair held for the traders of fish around the globe.
MIFCO informed that they had displayed several products of yellow fin tuna in the fair.
MIFCO further stated that people had put forth for Maldivian products since Maldives fish using eco-friendly techniques.
MIFCO stated that since the Europe has cut off the GSP of Maldivian Fish Products، the new market targeted is the America.
During the fair، negotiations had been made with famous traders and Maldivian fish has received numerous opportunities for export، stated MIFCO.
Apart from MIFCO two other traders of fish had participated in the fair.
