(Hithadhoo، Addu City): Fathmath Uswa Hussain who studied in grade 10 A has been chosen as the best all-round student of Sharafuddin School for the academic year 2014.
At the Prize Awarding Ceremony held last night، the shield and prizes were handed over to Uswa by the chief guest of the ceremony، State Minister of Housing and Infrastructure، Ahmed Habeeb.
Speaking at the ceremony، the chief guest advised students to set a target beforehand and work towards achieving it. He also noted that it is important to have some thinking about every aspect of life.
During this ceremony، students who achieved places in the National Top Ten of O Level examinations، School Top Ten from secondary students and School Top Ten from primary students were awarded shields and prizes.
Likewise، students who achieved excellence in various subjects and in discipline were also awarded. Moreover students who achieved good names for the school were also awarded. Speaking at the ceremony، principal of Sharafuddin School، Dr. Ahmed Adeel Naseer noted that the school is a successful school.
Dr. Adeel said that in addition to Addu City، the whole nation will be proud of the academic achievements of the school. He said that the aim of the school is to fulfil more achievements in the future as well.
Sharafuddin School was named by combining Muhibbuddin School and S. Atoll Education Center together. Both the schools were combined and jointly named Sharafuddin School in the year 2012. Over 1200 students are pursuing students in the school currently.
