The President’s Office has revealed President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih plans to visit four northern islands on September 26.
At a press conference, the Spokesperson at the President’s Office Miuvaan Mohamed said President Solih plans to visit Utheemu and Dhidhdhoo in Haa Alifu Atoll, as well as Finey and Naivaadhoo in Haa Dhaalu Atoll. President Solih will begin his trip on September 26 and will visit the islands to inspect the development projects, including the water and sewerage projects and the Raajje Transport Link (RTL) services. The president is also scheduled to meet the local councils and women’s development committees (WDCs) and meet the residents of the islands. He will conclude the trip on September 28.
Additionally, President Solih will attend the official National Day ceremony in Utheemu on September 27. The President’s Office stated the National Awards ceremony will be held in Male’ City on October 20.
