The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has issued a caution after a seaplane platform anchored in the lagoon of R. Maamunagaa Resort broke loose due to bad weather and rough sea conditions.
Authorities report that the platform is drifting towards the Kaashidhoo sea. Travellers and vessels in the affected area are urged to exercise increased caution, particularly during nighttime.
The MNDF continues to monitor the situation and advises the public to stay vigilant to ensure safety.
